Eric Energy Workshop

The first graders had a workshop/assembly on January 21st with Eric Energy!

HERO Boys Running Club

HERO Boys is a youth development and engagement program for boys in 3rd – 5th grades. Using running as a base activity HERO Boys inspires boys to discover the character and courage that resides inside each one of them to be brave, stand for that which is right, and use their talents and strengths to lead and set the positive example amongst their peers. The school-based program is 8 weeks long and culminates with the Dol Finn Dash and/or Kids on the Run race.

Season: March 9 – May 11, 2020
Training: Mondays, 8:00am – 9:15 am
Fee: $50*
Races: Saturday, May 9th, 2020 – Kids on the Run (Bohrer Park)

MCPS Adopts New Calendar for 2020-2021

The Montgomery County Board of Education met on Tuesday in Rockville.

For the first time in four years, Montgomery County students will return to classes before Labor Day next year.

The county school board on Tuesday afternoon finalized the academic calendar for the 2020-21 school year, which shows classes will begin on Aug. 31 and end June 16.

Schools will be open on Inauguration Day and closed for a professional day that coincides with the Muslim holiday of Eid.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here from November 14-22! We’ll have an amazing selection of books, a late night raffle, and more!
